Are you living life to the fullest? I could never understand the meaning of that question? What is living your life to the fullest? What do you mean by that? Do you mean that you are finally living your life the way you want to? Something that you should have been doing in the first place?
Living life to the fullest is just one of those sayings that make people feel like they are on their way to accomplish something big and life changing when in reality they are not accomplishing something life changing. This is why this saying is full of inaction rather than action. I can count all of the times I have seen that phrase on people’s Face book accounts over and over.
There really isn’t a reason for people to say that saying when the majority of us are not living life to the fullest. We are all here to live our lives to the fullest. But do we really mean what we say? Are you making moves which will benefit you and your family on a constant basis? Are you happy with your life and how it is going, probably not? Or are you just bullshitting and saying that because you finally got rid of the boyfriend or girlfriend or that one negative situation in life.
The saying living life to the fullest does not mean that your life has gotten to be so much better than before because you finally took care of the problem that was hounding you at the time. Yet your life still has not changed so how are you living life to the fullest?
Do we even know how to live life to the fullest? How do you perceive that? For me living life to the fullest means that your whole life has meaning not after you take care of the problem you think is hampering your life at the time.
Have you ever met in your life a person who is actually living life to the fullest? In all my years of living my life I have never come across a person who is living life to the fullest. Life in general has many ups and downs, positives and negatives so the term living life to the fullest does not hold any weight what so ever because life will either make you happy or sad depending on the situation. When it comes to life it’s never a smooth ride.
Then comes another question. How do we know what living life to the fullest mean? What idea pops in your head when you hear or use that term? You see your idea of living life to the fullest maybe totally different than mine. Some may want to be billionaires while others may just want happiness in their life.
I think you should be asking yourself “What is it that makes me happy?” and figure out what makes you happy. Be honest with yourself and pursue that goal or goals then build from there.
It’s easier to say that you are living life to the fullest than actually doing it.
